The story began in June 2018, during a training exercise at the Houston Police Department training academy where LaReahn and Lance first crossed paths.
In the early morning within a dimly lit gymnasium, Lance found himself assisting in training aspiring police officers, a routine he had performed countless times. However, this particular instance felt different. During this activity, LaReahn Washington, an aspiring officer, caught Lance's attention with her infectious laughter and bright smile. A smile with which seemed to illuminate the room like a radiant diamond in sunlight. Intrigued, Lance approached LaReahn, engaging in professional

Despite their initial encounter, Lance and LaReahn went their separate ways. Then, unexpectedly, Lance received a phone call from a longtime friend and church member who also happened to be LaReahn's mentor at the Houston Police Department. This mentor alerted Lance that LaReahn would soon be joining the Northeast substation and requested his assistance in looking out for her. It wasn't until August 6th 2018, that
Lance and LaReahn crossed paths again, this time at the Northeast substation where Lance worked. Determined to not let this opportunity slip away, Lance approached LaReahn, offering his support and providing his contact information, should she need any assistance during her training.

Their first facetime conversation marked the beginning of a continuous exchange of dialogue, eventually leading to a deep connection. They got to rapping and that's how it happened. It was the best day of their lives. Now they find themselves joining together for the next step in their relationship that began more than five years ago, their marriage.
